Privacy and terms

This policy explains how modvortex.com handles information when you browse this static site. We do not run Vortex, Nexus Mods, or game servers.

We do not offer accounts, comments, or logins. Hosting and CDN providers, including Cloudflare and R2, may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested URLs under their own policies.

Basic cookies or similar storage may appear when the hosting stack requires them. You can block cookies in your browser.

Download buttons point to installer files on files.modvortex.com. Those requests hit object storage. Review the file name and size before you run software on your PC.

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy as hosting changes. Continued use means you accept the revised text. Privacy questions go to support@modvortex.com.

By using modvortex.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, leave the site.

modvortex.com provides information and download links for Vortex Mod Manager. Vortex is software from Nexus Mods and Black Tree Gaming Ltd. This site is independent and is not endorsed by Nexus Mods, Bethesda, CD PROJEKT, Valve, or other game publishers.

Windows installers on files.modvortex.com come from public GitHub Releases for Nexus-Mods/Vortex. Vortex is offered under GPL-3.0 by its copyright holders. We do not claim ownership of Vortex, Nexus Mods branding, or any game.

You run installers and mods at your own risk. Scan files, keep backups, and follow each game's own rules. We do not warrant that a download will be free of errors or that a mod list will launch.

The site and hosted files are provided as is. We are not liable for lost saves, banned accounts, corrupted installs, or downtime on files.modvortex.com.

Rights holders who want a file or page removed can email support@modvortex.com with the URL, the work claimed, and proof of authority. We review complete notices.

Questions about these terms go to hello@modvortex.com or the contact page. Last updated 4 October 2026.
